Enhancing Communications through Emotional Intelligence in Working with Conflict™

The basic premise of the course lies on the foundational belief that we can listen and communicate more effectively when we are being “Response-Able” as opposed to “Re-Active.”

THE CONTRAST BETWEEN HEARING AND REALLY LISTENING CAN BE AS DIFFERENT AS NIGHT AND DAY. AND IN A BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT, NOT LISTENING EFFECTIVELY TO CUSTOMERS, EMPLOYEES, AND PEERS CAN MEAN THE DIFERENCE BETWEEN SUCCESS AND FAILURE ~KEN JOHNSON

Structure:

The training duration is 3 weeks. Each training is approximately 7 hours in length, and is conducted once each week. Homework is assigned to keep the training moving forward, and aid in the implementation of true change. The homework is consistent with work goals to integrate the learning and minimize overwhelming participants. There will be interaction with assigned partners in order to support each other in the homework during their work week. The meetings between partners will only take approximately 15 minutes as there is sensitivity to the already present workload. Accountability for on-going implementation of the course material is designed and integrated into the last week.
