Did You Say What I Heard™

Almost everyone knows listening is an important communication tool. It is an essential component of healthy relationships. No one wants to be ignored. “Why won’t he just let me finish my sentence?” “Why won’t she listen to my idea?” Listening is vital to so many aspects of life. You need to be able to listen in the workplace to get things done. In personal relationships listening is paramount for deep connection.  In both, listening fosters mutual understanding, growth, respect and connection.

The challenges in conflict, is often a product of not listening? Listening and hearing are not the same. You might even have another voice quietly speaking in your head as you’re reading this! We are all guilty of having our ideas in our heads as another is speaking, or being married to our righteousness and not really wanting to hear what another says. You can develop the ability to view situations from what another is saying while having your own point of view is an art.  Listening is that art.  In this engaging workshop, your insight of how you listen may really grow.

Did You Say What I Heard?™ is a 4 hour in-person workshop. Through a series of innovative, unique exercises, this workshop is designed to help you better understand and enhance your listening skills, create awareness, and spark motivation and action. Another vital component of the structure is the 1 hour follow-up coaching call with Marsha Marsh to ensure on-going implementation of the course material.
