THERE MAY BE NO ROOM LEFT FOR THE THINGS THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO THEM”
~MEDIATIONS OF PARENTS WHO DO TOO MUCH
Having experienced challenges with her own children (ages 25 and 28), aware of the prevalent self-destructive patterns of today’s youth, and witnessing the frustrations of so many well intentioned parents she coached, Marsha began to see that today’s children are in dire need of a more conscious way of parenting than our current generation of parents has been prepared to give. With her training as a life and relationship coach and her own passionate commitment to parenthood, Marsha has created an innovative approach that supports parents to discover their unique way of relating more effectively to their children.

Family Coaching
Most children develop their values, beliefs about self and others, and typical patterns of behavior within their family system. (Alfred Adler (1931) He believed that individuals could be understood only within a social context, and that the family provided the first and most important context. The family’s influence on its individual members cannot be underestimated. It is the nature of a family that its members are intensely connected emotionally. Systems theory is a theory of human behavior that views the family as an interconnected emotional unit.
To successfully intervene in the life of a child without considering the continuous influence of the family as the primary social system is near impossible. All members of the family are inter-connected in obvious ways and then the not so obvious. That which is not observed cannot be change. Through a variety of coaching modalities we support families in creating a safe environment to have the dialog necessary to bring out the context from which many of the difficulties are affecting the family system
